I have visited 3 times so far and each time my food was fresh and flavorful. My service was amazing and personable, and we enjoyed the ambiance and music.

The hostess, who also serves as the bartender and cashier, is amazing. She has a beautiful personality and great customer service. The food is great, well cooked and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

The Service was good. I enjoyed the food, tho, I wish my food came with more Attieke. The restaurant is 45 mins away from me so I won't be able to come back more often

Stopped in to try the food after new management. I was delighted with the taste of the food and customer service. I ordered goat, oxtails and jollof rice. The goat had more fat than lean but still the lean part with the red sauce was good. The oxtails, with a side of jollof rice...delicious. The only downfall to the oxtails, there were 3 itty bitty ones with 1 nice size. Anyway...Saying that, I will patronize again because the food was flavorful and good... just do better with the portions. The cost for small portions will limit my visits. Update: I've patronized this establishment 2 more times after first visit. They accommodated with the portion sizes.

I'm only giving them 4 stars because they took an hour to give me my food.. The jerk chicken.. didn't give that jerk chicken taste if that makes sense.. but the chicken it self was delicious I couldn't stop eating it.. now I will order more because the taste and price was just right.. My husband had something that was spicy beef and rice only he enjoyed it I also ordered egusi and pounded yam .. chicken and beef ( because they ran out of beef ) it was delightful .. My first trying African food it was great experience Not something I would want to eat all the time but it was good ..

Stopped here on our way from Kansas to Ohio and the food was superb. It exceeded expectations. The African Palace is a night club after 9 on the weekends but has a great atmosphere and any other time I would have definitely stayed for a drink and some dancing. Service was great as well would recommend to anyone in the area.
